I am a Board Certified and Award-Winning Plastic Surgeon. I have served as the Chief of Plastic Surgery and Chief of the Department of Surgery for Jackson North Medical Center in Miami, FL. I specialize in whole body surgical & non-surgical cosmetic treatments for both women and men. I can discuss the latest innovations and procedures to help people make proper and informed choices. I am also a patient advocate and passionate about sharing the good, the bad and the ugly about common plastic surgery practices to help patients navigate the world of plastic surgery effectively and safely. My active role as a whistle blower for patient safety has resulted in numerous litigations and defamation campaigns against me (from within the medical community). Most recently, I came under attack by Simon Ourian, a General Practitioner who became a celebrity cosmetic doctor, by performing procedures on the Kardashians. Dr. Ourian, surgeon to the stars, orchestrated a fake smear campaign with the help of a Russian company to discredit my practice. The reviews were retaliation against me for posting a series of videos on Instagram that were critical of Dr. Ourians credentials and disciplinary history (he is not qualified to perform the procedures he offers). My reputation took a nosedive overnight after dozens of fake reviews were posted online. Fortunately, my story caught National attention and the entire retaliatory campaign was uncovered by an investigative report on INSIDE EDITION. I was lucky INSIDE EDITION chose to cover the story and save my practice from a world-famous cosmetic doctor and his attempt to orchestrate fake reviews against me. At the end of the day, I continue to advocate for patient safety and expose bad practice within my industry--no matter the risk.
